Tuesday's Show: Patriotic Sadness

While watching footage of yesterday's Presidential inauguration, I thought of Dale Ahlquist's paraphrase of G. K. Chesterton: "The true patriot is always a little sad."

We'll talk about that today--patriotic sadness--centering on the forty year Lent since the Supreme Court, in Roe v Wade, declared that the right to privacy implicit in the due process clause of the Constitution's fourteenth amendment included the right to abortion. We'll also talk about two particular lines from the President's inauguration speech.

Other topics include the pro-abortion people who scare me the most, and Stan Musial and his dual citizenship.
