Monday: Mark Tooley, President of the Institute on Religion and Democracy

On Monday's show, my guest is Mark Tooley, president of the Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD). The mission statement of the IRD is this: "We are Christians working to reaffirm the church's biblical and historical teachings, strengthen and reform its role in public life, protect religious freedom, and renew democracy at home and abroad."
I'll be speaking with Mark Tooley about his recent post on the IRD's blog, Juicy Ecumenism, entitled, "Jesus Had Two Dads and He Turned Out Just Fine." Mark is a  United Methodist Christian who takes issue with the all-too-often Protestant neglect of Mary's role in salvation history. We'll also talk with him about the work of the IRD.
